Plymouth\u00c2\u00ae paid 50,000 dollars to Warner brothers to a fix the cartoon bird on to its new vehicle. The Road Runner\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 is perhaps the second most significant muscle car to the 64&#8242; Pontiac\u00c2\u00ae GTO\u00e2\u201e\u00a2.\u00c2\u00a0 In 1970 the 6 pack hood was dropped and the\u00c2\u00a0 air grabber hood was put into its place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"DSCN1614 by dougcole2000, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/29474631@N04\/5734411880\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2609\/5734411880_eaa8b8c9f4.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN1614\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n1614 This kit contains 76 pieces which includes 3 trees molded in white,2 trees molded in chrome, 1 tree in clear\u00c2\u00a0 parts and soft black tires. It also contains a 23 piece decal sheet that will allow you to stripe it if wanted. This kit gives you the option of both the stock sport rims and the cop rims. Not to be misleading but the body and the hood are molded in white and needed to be painted. It should be painted flat black to give it an original look. If you use the cop rims\u00c2\u00a0 there are\u00c2\u00a0 two ways\u00c2\u00a0 that it could be painted authentically which consists of the following :\u00c2\u00a0 1) it could be painted the same color of the car 2) from the inner part of the rim to the center cap it could be painted silver to dull the chrome. If you choose to paint the rims the car color place them in liquid plumber this will dissolve the chrome and not hurt the plastic. The radiator and battery are painted flat black. They were painted in flat black and then in satin black. After detailing, this is what they should look like.
