Most of the model went together well except for the missile itself. \u00c2\u00a0It required sanding off the pin locators so the halves would line up better.\u00c2\u00a0 Next fill the seam where the two halves met as there was a pretty good gap because of a void in the molded part.\u00c2\u00a0 Fill the void with some modeling putty and then sand the area.\u00c2\u00a0 Once that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s finished apply a coat of flat white paint.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Assembly of the launcher presented some challenges, as well, getting the platforms to fit onto the flash shield correctly.\u00c2\u00a0 After some investigation it became apparent that the platforms were molded a little short.\u00c2\u00a0 To correct this just add some extra glue to take up the space and after painting, it is hardly noticeable.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Figure 2 by dougcole2000, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/29474631@N04\/4953734805\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4127\/4953734805_3e0fa29884.jpg\" alt=\"Figure 2\" width=\"500\" height=\"395\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFigure 2\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Figure 2a by dougcole2000, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/29474631@N04\/4953734745\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4146\/4953734745_5c0d403af7.jpg\" alt=\"Figure 2a\" width=\"466\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFigure 2a<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the cab assembly, cut out the plastic for the windows of the cab using the template that came with the instructions but since it would be difficult to cover the windows during the painting process, don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t install them until later. Paint the cab and the remaining parts needed to enclose it (doors, roof etc.) then install the windows.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Figure 3 by dougcole2000, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/29474631@N04\/4954326056\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4107\/4954326056_644a8f5f27.jpg\" alt=\"Figure 3\" width=\"500\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFigure 3<\/p>\n<p>Assembly of the chassis and elevating boom as well as painting followed without a hitch.
