In 1987 the Buick GN (Grand National) was released with a turbocharged 231 V6 engine. Most people wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think much of a V6, even with a turbo but it was actually faster than any other car GM produced that year, even the Corvette. The special GNX model was more than just a cosmetic improvement; GM engineers beefed up the engine internally and added a few more tweaks to the computerized induction system to garner 276 horsepower and stump-pulling 360 ft lbs of tire-smoking torque. Yes, from a V6! The engineers had coaxed so much power out of this little engine that they had to create a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153ladder bar\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for the rear suspension to keep things from causing pure chaos!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>For the Modeler:<\/b> This kit has 103 pieces and is molded in white, clear and transparent red plastic and includes molded vinyl tires, basic instructions and a decal sheet.
