The subject of this kit was Arnie\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Super Judge funny car.\u00c2\u00a0 He also used this car for a lot of match racing and did pretty well at it. His equipment and all of his cars were destroyed in a fire at his shop, which was on his farm, in 1972.\u00c2\u00a0 He was uninsured and was unable to continue to compete after that as he couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t afford to replace everything.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>For the Modeler:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> This kit is a Round 2 reissue of an MPC release of Arnie\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s GTO Judge.\u00c2\u00a0 As is typical of MPC kits it has quite a bit of flash, part fitment is sometimes not the best and several important details are incorrect when compared to the actual car.\u00c2\u00a0 When I was first looking at the kit I thought that much of it looked similar to the Model King reissue of the Cougar funny car.\u00c2\u00a0 So I grabbed mine off the shelf and discovered that the chassis, wheels and tires, and other assorted parts are directly from the Cougar funny car kit.\u00c2\u00a0 MPC added a supercharged Pontiac engine and the GTO body. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll quickly find that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no joke trying to put together a contest worthy funny car, so if you want to perfect that build there are some things you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll need to know. Although this is a great base to start with we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll show you how to make this kit compliant to the real car with donor parts and other changes.
