\u00c2\u00a0This model kit was introduced in 1969 as a replica of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Titan of the motorcycling industry\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and the Electra Glide was called the, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Cadillac of Cycling\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. In 1996 when this kit was re-released the Electra Glide was called the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153King of the motorcycles.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Both box descriptions fit this motorcycle very well; this is truly one great piece of art. It was the 1969 release (a gift from my Uncle Bill) of this kit that got me interested in building motorcycles. The intricate detail and the pure enjoyment of building something so beautiful got me hooked onto motorcycles. This kit was re-released in the 90\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s and is still a lot of fun to build almost twenty years later.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For the Modeler:<\/b> This is the Revell kit 85-7308 Harley Davidson Electra Glide that is 1:8 scale and a Skill Level 2 and 170 pieces. The pieces are molded in; white, chrome, clear, black vinyl tubing and black vinyl tires. Although these kits are no longer on the shelves they can still be found at an online auction near you. The finished dimensions are; L-11.75\u00e2\u20ac\u009d x W-4.75\u00e2\u20ac\u009d x H-7.25\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
