\u00c2\u00a0The Munsters was a 1960\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s American family television sitcom depicting the home life of a family of monsters. It starred Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster and Yvonne De Carlo as his wife, Lily Munster. The series was a satire of both traditional monster movies and popular family entertainment of the era, such as Leave It to Beaver. It ran concurrently with The Addams Family. Although the Addams family were well-to-do, the Munsters were a more blue-collar family. The series aired at night once a week in black-and-white on the CBS Television Network from September 24, 1964 to May 12, 1966, for 70 episodes.<\/p>\n

For the Modeler: <\/strong>This review covers the Round2 release of the Munsters Chevy Monster Truck under the AMT brand. This is Kit #A863 which is 1\/25 scale and a Skill Level 2 for the moderate builder as it requires paint and glue for assembly. This kit is a Re-release \"1\"<\/a> (Re-Pop) of the USA-1 Monster truck but with all new Munsters themed graphics. There are roughly 100 parts molded in Black, Chrome, Clear and Clear Red and included Vinyl tires. This is a full frame traditional style truck, not the roll cage super-truck that is now used in the Monster Truck competitions. The kit has a fully detailed motor that is quite easy to wire and add additional details to. There is a full chassis with the monster style suspension and drivetrain. The interior is a typical tub and looks more like a stock interior than race truck. The body is split with the cab and bed being separate units. The tires are a hollow soft rubber compound and are typical of the monster truck tires seen in the majority of kits. The decals have a crisp color register and look good with rich color depth. Overall dimensions are: Length: 9\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Width: 5\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Height: 5-3\/4\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
