Originally released as MPC kit # 415a from the 60\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s this is a fun model kit of a pedal bike ice cream delivery cart like you might see in a city park. The actual vehicle never existed in this form but this is a model company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s idea for a different kit at a time when the bike and chopper style kits were popular. Somewhat realistic it has the general look of the Ice Cream cart but has wide custom tires instead of the typical thin tires. The model companies were taking full advantage of the thirst for different styles of show cars and gimmick style builds back then. You can find many examples of the custom trikes, bikes, cars and really; almost anything with wheels from this era.<\/p>\n

For the Modeler:<\/strong> This review covers the 2002 re-release (Re-Pop) of the MPC Ice Cycle. This was Kit # 31917 in the AMT\/ERTL catalog and has been discontinued but can be found online for sale at a reasonable price. The AMT version lists this as 1\/25 scale but it is \"1\"<\/a>actually 1\/12 scale based on the original box. AMT considered this a Skill Level 2 build for moderate abilities. The kit is very basic with a low parts count of 75 parts molded in White, Chrome, Clear and Clear Red and Vinyl tires. Waterslide decals are included. In the kit you get a bunch of parts unrelated to this build, they actually belong to another bike kit called the Boss Bike. Overall dimensions are: Length: 7-1\/4\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Width: 4-1\/4\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Height: 5-1\/2\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
