In 1967 Chevrolet released the Camaro, as a rival of the Ford Mustang. In those times, builders and modifiers took note of this little two door beauty and before long made it into some MONSTER rides. Some of the large dealers providing popular street legal racing builds were Nickey, Yenko, and of course GM with the factory COPO and Z11 versions. This was the “First Generation Body\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and the start of what are still being made as the two-door Camaro.\u00c2\u00a0 It has been equipped with many different engine and transmission options lending themselves to a noticeable racing career. When bought new in 1967 this would have cost $2800 optioned as is, but now these cars bring top dollar at up to $500K+ with only 410 made in \u00e2\u20ac\u02dc67.

This is a retooled re-release and is a Skill Level 5 kit in 1:25 scale. The kit contains over 128 parts molded in White, Chrome, Clear and Clear Red. There are Vinyl tires. The overall construction is straight-forward and the build goes together well. Take your time and test fit the parts and locations. The motor is nicely detailed and simple accessories will make it contest ready. Interior assembly is simple and highly detailed. The body is one piece with separate front and rear valance sections.
