During WWII, the German military used the Stuka Dive Bomber as an extension of the artillery. Its pinpoint accuracy and lethal bombing capabilities could go in strike and give time for the German army to deploy it’s arty. The G-1 “Tank Buster” was the last of it’s kind.\u00c2\u00a0 Stuka’s were used from 1939 until the end of the war. this was a massive plane heavily armored but slow. Armaments included in this version are two 37mm BK Cannons able to penetrate most of the Russian armor easily.<\/p>\n

For the Modeler:<\/strong> \u00c2\u00a0This is a re-released Tank Buster version of the Revell Stuka Ju 87G-1 in 1:48 scale, model kit #85-5270. Revell has rated this as a Skill Level 4 for ages 12 and above and suggests five hours of build time. In the box you get 53 parts molded in light grey and clear with water slide decals that are very nice but thick with crisp edges and flawless adhesion. From the under-\"000\"<\/a> wing cannons to the multi piece canopy, the kit is an easy builder with only a few issues. \u00c2\u00a0This kit has been around a long time and the molding technology from that era is still evident as it will take some extra test fitting and filling to do this kit properly but if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re after a great looking Stuka at a great price this will fit the bill.\u00c2\u00a0 Overall dimensions are approximately: Length: 9\u00c2\u00bc”, Width: 12\u00c2\u00bc”, Height: 3″.<\/p>\n
