For the modeler:<\/strong> \u00c2\u00a0This review covers the AMT\/ERTL model of the Robot from the Lost in Space movie. This kit is dated 1998 and is an original molding. \u00c2\u00a0No scale is noted on the kit. It was Kit # 8458 in their catalog and can still be found online and in some private owned Hobby Shops. \u00c2\u00a0The kit is listed as a Skill Level 2 and requires Glue and Paint. \u00c2\u00a0The kit can be \"1\"<\/a> a small challenge as it does have fully articulating arms and torso so some extra skill and time is needed in assembly and prep to make it work properly.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 You get almost 70 parts molded in DARK Blue, Light Grey and Clear. \u00c2\u00a0The instructions are foldout and will aid in construction. \u00c2\u00a0The decals are Waterslide and after 20 years still were in perfect condition to use as-is without any fixative. \u00c2\u00a0Assembly starts with the base tracks and builds up with the arms and torso. It finishes with assembling the whole torso into one part finishing the build. \u00c2\u00a0All decals can be added at the end. \u00c2\u00a0Paint callouts are on each part and colors are basic with only about 4 colors used, Metallic Blue, Silver, Red and Flat Black. \u00c2\u00a0Overall dimensions are roughly (depending on how you pose him): Wide: 9\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Deep: 10\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Tall: 10-1\/2\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
