Mona Mae is on a mission! Ever since she first laid eyes on one of those pastel pink sales trophies that her rivals use, she’s had one goal in mind – building her own cosmetic sales empire! Look out soccer moms – Mona Mae is coming your way and her goal is to sell cosmetics to you any way she can. She has to. Mona’s Caddy cost a bundle and she has to sell about three grand a month to keep the repo man out of the garage at night.

Project 0015 - Mona Mae Cosmetics

Mona Mae isn’t shy. You can tell by the color of that Escalade that she wants you to know she’s coming. And if she can’t sell you some product: she wants you to sell some for her. Mona has an arsenal of cosmetics in that rolling product demo making her sales pitch hard to resist. With a full vanity and lineup of product in the back she can quickly show you how good you’ll look with the right makeup.

Inside the cab, dual video monitors outline her company’s product line and benefits. Regular clients get the royal treatment with a glass of Chablis while being shown a presentation of the latest Mona Mae cosmetics. A telescoping console laptop keeps track of sales and inventory in real time too.

You may never see Mona Mae’s Cadillac in your town but you can imagine her in this project pulling up to the front of some skyscraper and loading up a wealthy client for a demo tour. For the modeler, this project makes use of fluorescent color and special lighting effects that you can use and modify in a number of ways to suit your needs.

There are also tips showing how to remove chrome plating from parts in order to paint or re-chrome them and a method for placing decals over raised surfaces.

It looks like Detroit is finally going green. Well, brown anyway! In celebration of Earth Day Ford Motor Company has released a concept vehicle that finally addresses the most stringent environmental concerns. Due for production in 2015 this new design makes use of breakthrough technologies that reduce tailpipe emissions to zero. In addition the entire body structure and interior are made from dirt! It is actually made of baked clay.

The advantages are tremendous for the savvy buyer. Not only will you get carbon offset credits for your purchase but auto body repairs are now as easy as making mud pies. In the event of a collision, repairs can be made by simply scooping up some mud and slapping it on the damaged area. Using the factory installed blow dryer to set the patch, you’re on your way within 15 minutes and nobody will ever know the difference. Just don’t forget to throw on a couple coats of varnish before the next big rainstorm!

The propulsion system is just as amazing. It runs entirely on compressed air just like filling up a balloon. This new compressed air technology (CAT) allows the vehicle to travel over 100 miles on a fill up and is ideal for city driving.

End-of-Life requirements mandate that manufacturers make products that are mostly recyclable. This new design is quite an advance in that area as well. After removing the drive train to melt the few steel parts down that are in the vehicle, the tires are shredded to make new road building material, the wheels are recycled to make aluminum cans and the body is buried in the ground where it will completely dissolve within three years into some fine potting soil.

You can’t buy one of these beauties yet but you can make a replica to display at your next environmental event to show how serious you are about protecting the earth. This two-story pickup truck even comes with a bio-degradable bed liner for that organic garden you’ve been wanting to plant. The convenient sunroof permits easy access to the fruit trees and the rabbits can’t get to your veggies without a ladder.

Here is how to turn a gas guzzler into environmental ecstasy so if you like what you see and want to learn how to do it for yourself, read all about it in the Step-By-Step section.

Lurking inside every avid sports fan is that creative maniac that yearns to let the entire world know they eat, sleep and dream about their favorite team. Wouldn’t you love to see the looks on their faces as you pull into the driveway to pickup the guys for the trip down to the stadium in a drop dead gorgeous UNC Caromaro! Well, maybe your favorite team was MSU and you can’t afford a real Caromaro, but the idea is – take a hot model car add some great decals and stickers and turn it into a game day showpiece that you can display in front of your widescreen for the big game.

Here is the result, so if you like what you see and want to learn how to do it for yourself, read all about it in the ROR Step-By-Step section.
