The M34 truck is a 2½ ton 6X6 truck known as the Eager Beaver and was very popular with the United States Army during World War II. Its popularity continued even after the war since all six wheels could have power sent to them. This truck was a work horse that could hold a maximum of 5000 pounds, could climb a grade of 64%, and ford a stream that was 72 inches deep.

For the Modeler: This is a Monogram Selected Subjects Program (SSP) Series U. S. Army Eager Beaver 2½ Ton Truck kit.  It is a 1:35 scale, Skill Level 2 kit with 73 pieces molded in; olive drab, clear, black vinyl tires, six figures and waterslide decals. The finished dimensions are; Length 7.5”, Width 2.75”,  Height 3.25” with the tarp and Length 7.5”, Width 2.75”,  Height 2.875” without.
