The Ford C series trucks were a medium duty cargo hauler produced from 1957-1990. The Canadian versions were Mercury M Series trucks. Seen on the road for decades and still in use by many companies, these were the workhorses of the business world. There were also quite a few variations of the C Series that were produced as emergency and fire trucks as well.

For The Modeler: This is a AMT kit A804, Ford C-600 City Delivery. It is a 1:25 scale kit and is a Skill Level 3. The pieces are molded in; chrome, white, clear orange, clear red, clear, black vinyl tires, and waterslide decals. The dimensions are; 14 X 4 1/2 W X 5 3/4 H. This 17 page, Full Color, Step-By-Step review examines the basic construction of this kit along with how to do the Todco Roll Up Door, part contamination,  and flash. Here is a rerelease of the Ford C-600 City Delivery PEPSI version from AMT. AMT has released several versions of the C-600 and C-900 Ford truck however this is the second release of the PEPSI version in a few decades.

Overall: It is rare to see a model kit with the PEPSI decals on it, you see Coca Cola all the time however there was only a total of three model kits that I found for PEPSI (this kit, a tractor and trailer set, and a semi trailer). I found this to be a very enjoyable kit to build. This kit was one of many the kits I was hoping would be rereleased by AMT. I would recommend this kit to any model builder for their collection, the decals are great, the detail is wonderful and it was easy to follow the instructions. I hope they bring back out the tractor trailer set that was out with PEPSI logos.
