For the Modeler: This review covers the Re-release of the AMC Pacer Wagon by Round 2 under the AMT brand. This kit has seen a few re-pops over the years in different box arts. This is Kit #AMT1008 in the current catalog and is a 1/25 scale kit.  This is the Retro Deluxe version which has all of the original parts and add-ons with a new decal sheet. The box has no 1 Skill Level on it but this would be a Skill Level 3 as it requires glue and paint. In the box you will get 111 parts molded in White, Chrome, Clear and Tinted Clear and Clear Red. There are Vinyl tires and a Plastic set of tires and Metal axles. The decals are Waterslide and the instructions are fold out. The motor has many of the parts molded on it but the detail is fairly nice. The chassis has decent details and is of normal expectations for AMT of the 70’s . The interior details are decent but door panel molding is a tad light and as is the dash details. And no decals are included for interior details. The body does have two versions, a Stock and Custom. The custom body makes a neat Panel Wagon with a cool front end. The only decals allow for a Hungarian Take Out style restaurant… There are no custom stripes or wood panels. Overall the car measures: Length: 6-1/2”, Width: 3”, Height: 2-1/2”.
