The Mustangâ„¢ SVO was a limited -production version of the Ford® Mustang™™ sold from 1984 to 1986.During this time it was the fastest and expensive version of the Mustangâ„¢ available. In 1981 Ford® formed a division that could over see the company’s racing and limited edition, high performance street legal vehicles. This program was known as the special vehicle operations or S.V.O for short. In later years it became known as the Special Vehicle Team or S.V.T. for short. The turbo charged 2.3 liter inline four pushed out 175 h.p at 4400 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm. It has a standard 5-speed manual transmission. Ford® was looking for a fuel efficient high performance sports car that could compete with the European sports cars of the day and the Ford® Mustangâ„¢ SVO was born.
For the modeler – this is a fun kit to build with plenty of detail. The review points out an accurate finishing motif, construction sequence and needed preparation steps for a great looking model. The best part is that this kit can be shelf ready in a short time.

The current backbone of the United States Air Force’s airlift fleet, the C-17A Globemaster III is well represented in this 1/144 kit from Revell Germany. Its small scale is very deceptive, as the finished kit is actually as large as most 1/48 twin-engine jets, making this a rather substantial addition to one’s collection.
I enjoyed this build, and with the new decals and optional parts and poses, several of these attractive cargo haulers could easily make their way into my collection.

In 1968 Plymouth® decided that muscle cars had gotten to far from their original purpose. Thus the Road Runnerâ„¢ was born. It was based on a stripped Belvedereâ„¢ the standard engine 383cdi up to race ready 440 Magnumâ„¢. Plymouth® paid 50,000 dollars to Warner brothers to a fix the cartoon bird on to its new vehicle. The Road Runnerâ„¢ is perhaps the second most significant muscle car to the 64′ Pontiac® GTOâ„¢. In 1970 the 6 pack hood was dropped and the air grabber hood was put into its place.
