The Ford Bronco was Ford’s first compact SUV which remained virtually untouched for eleven years (1966-1977). The characteristics of the Bronco are a 92-inch wheel base, 4-wheel drive, and either a straight 6-cylinder engine or a small block V8. The Ford Bronco was intended to be an off-road multipurpose vehicle. Some models had a swing away spare tire on the rear of the vehicle, a bench style back seat and a removable top. The Ford Bronco had three body styles; wagon style, half cab style, and a roadster style. The base price when the Ford Bronco first came out was around $2200.00

For the Modeler: This review covers the Italeri Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole 1:24 Scale model kit #3683. The kit is a Re-release and also portions of the kit (motor) are seen in other Lambo Model kits made by Italeri. While there is no stated skill level, Italeri does recommend builders be age 14 and over. The kit itself is 145 parts molded in White, Grey, Black, Frosted 1 Chrome and  Clear and includes Vinyl tires. The build consists of a detailed interior with decals. The engine is highly detailed with multiple parts and the engine cover opens to display it. The chassis has detailed suspension also. The body is molded in White so it can be left as is or painted. The details are crisp and clean and the body is a multiple part unit. Finished dimensions are: Length 7-1/4”, Width 3”, Height 2”.

This review covers the 1958 Chevy Impala 1:25 Scale Revell Model Kit #85-4419.  Revell has re-released the ’58 Chevy Impala in a Stock version for 2016. This was previously released in the Lowrider version and was based on a Diecast car made into a model kit. The idea was to compete with the aging mold from AMT that was originally released in 1962 and had all the chrome pieces molded onto the body, whereas 000 the Revell kit had all the chrome trim done as separate, pre-chromed parts. This kit is a Skill Level 4 for ages 12 and up and has a suggested five hours of assembly time.  There are 136 parts molded in White, Clear, Clear Red and Chrome with Vinyl tires and metal axles, pins and screws. The motor is highly detailed and needs little to make it contest quality. The chassis is well detailed and multiple parts. The interior is crisply molded with separate door panels and high detail including decals for the seats and instrument panel. The body has opening trunk and hood; the doors would be simple to open too. All chrome trim is added on;  not molded in. The tires have Whitewall inserts. Decals for the body only include a red pinstripe aside from the Stock emblems. Overall dimensions are: Length: 8″, Width: 3″, Height: 2-3/16”.
